How was your weekend?
Mine was full of a mix of fun and work, so all-in-all feels productive
On Friday I taught kickboxing before spending the day working away. I didn’t actually do any combos this week, just a ton of drills, agility, and strength. I got some great feedback after, so I think everyone felt it was good and tough!
Friday evening was a going away party for one of our most senior trainers at the gym. She is moving to South Carolina and we gathered for some drinks and appetizers. It was a great turnout and everyone seemed to have a good time. Afterwards, my friend/co-worker Lisa and I had a glass of wine and sat outside to chat and people watch…the best way to start out a weekend!

Saturday morning I headed to the gym a little early so I could get some cardio done before I trained a few clients. I hopped on the eliptical for 35-minutes and got a good sweat. After training my clients, I met Elisa for a weight’s workout. It was killer!

This was a fantastic workout! All my muscles were burning by the end and I’m pleasantly sore today. Love it
Post-workout lunch:
Last night we went to a baby shower for my mama-to-be friend, Jami. It was a non-traditional, bbq couple’s shower and was a blast! They had great food, some fun games, and lots of amazing conversation. It was supposed to go until 7, but we all sat around and chatted until after 10!
This morning I got up and got right to work…well, after breakfast
[oatmeal w/ flax and blueberries, egg]
I did a TON of stuff today and felt so good about all I accomplished:
·Grocery Shopping
·Food Prep for Week
·Cleaned the House
·3 Loads of Laundry
·Planned Workouts for Clients
In addition to the chores, I met my mother-in-law for a pedicure AND took Zoey on a long walk with Lauren and baby Hudson. Success, I’d say!

Now I’m about ready to melt into our clean sheets. Ahhh…
See ya tomorrow!
*TIP TIME*
When going out with friends, split a few appetizers and get a salad. This way you’ll get to have bites of foods you may not have tried, while getting a few good servings of veggies.
