I can’t believe it’s Thursday night…wow this week has flown by!
This morning I had a quick green juice (same combo as yesterday) then hurried to get out the door and to work. Colin had an evening filled with entertaining clients, so I wanted to get home early enough to enjoy some “girl time” with Zoey.
Lunch and snacks all packed up:
I got a few things done before heading out with two of my co-workers to run the stairs. It’s been a while since I’ve done stairs twice in one week and my legs were already sore from yesterday’s speed session. I wasn’t exactly sure how I would fare, but it went pretty well. My calves were burning when I got to the top, but other than that I felt good!
When we got back to the gym, I hopped on the elliptical for 25-minutes to shake out my legs a bit more and then called it a day.
Mid-afternoon I headed home to check on Zoey. She didn’t want to walk (like started shaking and whining when we started out) so I just took her in the back yard and we had a good time hanging out in the sunshine. When we came back inside I did a few things for work then laid down for a 10-minute snooze before CorePower class. Well…10-minutes turned into 90-minutes and I woke up suddenly after sleeping through yoga! Whoops. While I hated missing class, I woke up feeling really good.

Tonight I whipped up the last of the tostada leftovers. Sorry for a week of boring eats! I will try to get a little more creative next week
Okay, I’m off to get ready for FRIDAY! I am serving on a panel at one of our local high schools in the morning to talk about careers in fitness. Wish me luck…
*TIP TIME*
Rest when your body needs rest. Sometimes taking a quick 10-15 minute nap is all we need to recharge our engines!
