I had to be into work early this morning and I did NOT want to get up. Our new bedroom is quiet and dark, and we finally have our whole bed set up and it’s really comfortable. For the past year we’ve only been using our basic frame and the mattress (no box spring) and there is no comparison now!
It was a full day of administrative type work and I took a quick break to go check out some spin bikes that we are moving to our facility when the remodel is complete.
I had the same salad as yesterday for lunch (boring, I know!) and the same snack! (What can I say…I like what I like )
After work I headed to the gym to hit up the stairmill before I taught pump. I have been slacking on cardio this week, but have hit strength training hard. My body was craving some sweaty time and that’s what I got!
BodyPump went great. I’ve gotten to know a bunch of the regulars, which makes teaching so much more fun. It was the last day of the current release I’m doing (80) and I’m so ready to change it up. We’re launching the newest release on Halloween, so I’m in the midst of remembering two different choreographies. Hello brain overload!
Dinner tonight was the last serving of spaghetti squash with sauce. I didn’t take a picture, but it looked exactly like this:
Okay, I’m off to read! I just joined a book club and am excited to have a reason to read for pleasure again.
Have a great evening!
To optimize your sleep, keep the temperature cool and consider blackout shades or a sleep mask. Our bodies produce HGH and melatonin when we hit deep levels of sleep, both of which are important for health and hormone regulation.
