Body Image Project
This semseter one of my classes requires the completion of a major project. It’s not my Master’s thesis, but a smaller task in the area of stress management, body image, or self-discovery. I chose to base mine on the phenomenal
Operation Beautiful.

If you’re not familiar, the idea behind Operation Beautiful is that anonymous post-it notes with positive affirmations can help to banish negative self-talk (or “fat-talk”) and improve body image of those reading the notes, as well as the post-er!
From October 4th-October 31st I will be posting at least one sticky note each day with a positive affirmation somewhere around town or on campus. I will take a picture of the posting and provide a quick journal entry on the blog of the positive impact it had on myself and/or those around me. Following the project I will turn in the entries and a paper reflecting the outcome of the project. Let me know if you want to join in!

Such a cool idea. I left a note at a restaurant downtown!
Did you happen to leave on in Dole? I saw one there…
No, I didn’t leave one in Dole but that’s so fun!
Can you believe I haven’t left one of these? After reading these, I can’t help it now — I promise I will. Such a beautiful & inspiring way to impact yourself & others for your class project Natalie!
