Italian Turkey Meatloaf

Italian Turkey Meatloaf
·1 lb. ground turkey breast
·1 onion
·1 egg white
·1/3 cup oat bran
·1 tsp. dried basil
·1 tsp. dried oregano
·1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
·2 tsp. garlic powder
·salt and pepper to taste
·1/2 cup pizza sauce*

Preheat oven to 350°.  Combine all ingredients except pizza sauce in a large bowl and mix with hands until fully incorporated.  Form into a loaf and place in 8×8 cassrole dish sprayed lightly with cooking spray.  Spoon sauce over loaf and spread to cover.  Bake for 35-minutes or until it reads 140° internally on a meat thermometer.

*I use Ragu homestyle pizza sauce because it has no added sugar, a minimal ingredients list, and tastes really good
