How to Make Perfect Pumpkin Oatmeal
How to make my favorite Pumpkin Pie Oats:
First, measure out 1/4 cup of oat bran (or 1/2 cup of oatmeal) and 3/4 cup of water.
Combine in a microwave safe bowl and cook on high for 3 minutes. Stir in 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed and set aside:
Pour 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin puree in a microwaveable bowl and cook on high for 1 minute:
Add warmed pumpkin to oat mixture. Stir in 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/8 tsp. ginger, and a dash of cloves:
Add 2/3 cup nonfat greek yogurt to oatmeal mixture:
Stir until thoroughly combined:
Transfer to a bowl and swirl in about 1 tbsp. of pumpkin butter or maple syrup/sweetener (to taste):
